The model, television personality, and entrepreneur shared the lengthy heartbreaking news on her social media pages revealing that she couldn’t stop bleeding throughout the pregnancy and despite best efforts by the medical team, their baby didn’t make it.
She wrote, “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.”
We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So, he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”
Chrissy Teigen further stated that she is grateful for her two kids, Luna and Miles and thanks everyone who has been sending positive messages their way saying that her family is grieving their loss at the moment and though there will be lots of tears as the pain never really goes away, there will also be love and hugs.
Reacting to Chrissy’s post on her Twitter page, about the loss of their child, John Legend wrote, “We love you Jack”
Just so you know, Chrissy Teigen was rushed to the hospital on Monday where she revealed that she was going through blood transfusion and on bed rest due to excessive bleeding, stating that she was however getting better.
