Shocking details surrounding the death of American actor and singer Naya Rivera have been revealed as the Ventura County medical examiner has released the Glee star’s full autopsy and investigative report.
According to the investigative report, the late star’s four year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, said that before his mother disappeared into the water and drowned, they counted “1, 2, 3” and jumped off the boat together at Lake Piru in Ventura County, California.
According to Josey, after getting into the water, his mother told him to get back on the boat. He explained that she helped him onto the boat and then he heard her yelling help as she put her arm in the air and disappeared into the water.
According to the autopsy report, Naya Rivera had previous problems with vertigo and had a small number of prescribed drugs in her system.
The report however did not identify physical conditions or drugs as factors in her death, as she has “no known history of suicidal ideation or attempt.”
The cause of the death of the actress who was “considered to be a good swimmer,” remains a drowning and the manner of death was ruled as an accident.
