Nollywood actress and producer Genevieve Nnaji has been appointed alongside fifty other filmmakers to become an ambassador of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2020.
This new appointment for Genevieve is coming after she was invited by The Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences, popularly known as The Oscars to become one of its newest members, in the company of about eight hundred and eighteen other people.
This year’s edition of the Toronto International Film Festival is scheduled for the 10th of September to the 18th of September and the organising body is opting for digital screenings and virtual red carpets in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Toronto International Film Festival popularly known as TIFF, is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world, whose mission is to transform the way people see the world through film.
