Despite the ongoing crisis in the University, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof. Theophilus Soyombo, assumed duties yesterday, pledging to lift the institution to a higher pedestal than he met it.
He also promised to prioritize the welfare of staff, while calling for their support.
