33-year-old, Fahim Saleh the co-founder of motorcycle-sharing platform, Gokada was confirmed dead on Tuesday, by the New York Police.
Mr Faleh’s body was found limbless and headless in a building on E. Houston St. at Suffolk St. on the Lower East side, New York.
Faleh’s sister was said to have been the first to notice the body at around 3:30 p.m. when she went to check on him after not hearing from him for a day.
The victim’s sister called 911 when she found his lifeless bloody in the $2.2 million condo he bought back in 2019.
“We have a torso, a head that’s been removed, arms, and legs. Everything is still on the scene. We don’t have a motive,” NYPD spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves said.
The murder is believed to have been committed with an electric saw.
Aside his Gokada business in Nigeria, the 33-year-old is said to have co-founded Pathao in Bangladesh and recently invested in Colombia’s largest motorcycle ride-sharing company, Picap.
