Legal Luminary, Femi Falana joined us to dissect the legality of the highly publicized Executive Order 10 issued by President Muhammadu Buhari with the aim of granting financial autonomy to state assemblies and the judiciary.
It is expected that the FG will Gazette the order this week despite the reservations by so many Governors; speaking on behalf of the disgruntled governors is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi.
Backing the governors is the immediate past Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, who said that while the intent of the President in signing the order might be good, the action was unnecessary and unconstitutional.
