Social media has been thrown into a frenzy following Dbanj‘s campaign against sexual violence.
The Koko master made a post on Instagram speaking against rape and demanding justice for rape victims. He wrote:
“#NoMeansNo We Need to Raise Our Sons right and Teach them to love and Respect Women .We Need Justice for Our GIRLS…Say NO to Rape, Racism, tribalism. Let us stop living in FEAR and HATE ,and start living in LOVE .🙏🙏🙏.”
Not long after, a Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese accused him of raping his friend 2 years ago. Benjamin made a post saying the singer had no right to speak against rape, he accused him of being a rapist and of raping his friend. See posts below:
In the same vein, a certain @princessjayama22 on twitter has accused Peruzzi of rape, saying the incident happened sometime in 2012. She alleged that she spent the night at his house in company of another friend, Aisha but didn’t report because she was naive.
