Clarence Peters was detained by the Lagos State police command for questioning over the death of dancer Love Divine popularly known as Kodak.
Speaking about his continued detention, the police command spokesperson Bala Elkana had this to say “My response has been clear.
Do we have Clarence in custody, I say we do. Why do you have Clarence in custody? We are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the dancer.
“We are also waiting for the autopsy result. Investigation is a natural cause. It is important for him and it is also good for any other person who was there. If nobody has a hand in it, the report will clear everybody. If the result says it is a murder case, the law will take its cause. That is exactly why we have him, that is exactly what we are doing”
Just yesterday Clarence Peters issued a lengthy statement via his Instagram page debunking rumours that he was arrested, stating that he willingly made himself available for questioning as requested by the police command.
