The Senate on Tuesday clamored for the de-centralization of the Nigeria Police. The Senate spokesman and Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Surajudeen Basiru, joined us on Your View this morning to clarify things: There would now be a Zonal Police command as part of the NPF, which would extensively have its own operational, budgetary, independence and autonomy to ensure flexibility, adaptability and dynamism in terms of addressing security challenges.
