The Bollywood superstar who became popular for his role in the Slum Dog Millionaire and Life of Pie passed away on Wednesday 28th April.
According to his PR agency, Khan was admitted into ICU in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to a colon infection earlier in the week. Meanwhile, his mum also recently passed away and Khan was unable to be present at the burial.
According to a statement from Khan’s PR agency, Hardly Anonymous Communications. “Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him.”
