Social media has been thrown into a frenzy following news of a father who was recorded spanking his son for his academic failure.
From the conversations in the now viral video which is believed to have been recorded by the boy’s mother, one can deduce that the father, George Mambezi, (reported to be the Senior Manager of Operations, MTN Zambia Northern Region,) was NOT pleased with his son, Bambino Bester of the American International School of Lusaka, who was absent at his English and Maths exams but did very well in Music after a payment of about 8 million Naira (21,000 U.S Dollars) as tuition.
