Following the recent attacks from aggrieved members of the AGN over the appointment of Sen. Ishaku Abbo Elisha as Patron of the association, the leaders of the AGN has decided to call for a general meeting in order to address the issue.
You may recall that Nollywood actress Hilda Dokubo recently shared a video online where she totally condemned the appointment of the senator as their patron, Kate Henshaw also followed suit and came under attack by the National President of the Guild in which she shared a video online yesterday to respond to the attack of the National President, Emeka Rollas.

WE HEARD YOUR VOICES OF CONCERN
This is a special appeal to our teeming members, fans and associates that the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN is mindful of the feelings of some members with regards to the the choice of Senator Ishaku Abbo as National Patron , North East Zone of AGN.
In view of this, the National President , Mr Emeka Rollas Ejezieh, has called for a general meeting of stakeholders on Monday 23/03/2020 at Natives Restaurant and Lounge, Ojo Ologbun Close , off Idejo street , Victoria Island Lagos. Time: 11am.
The object of this meeting is essentially to tackle this issue and other relevant matters relating to the AGN and its quest to improve the welfare of members.
However , a committee has been set up to look immediately into the complaints and indeed grievances of members and make urgent recommendations to the National Executive Committee for immediate action.
We urge our teeming members and in particular those that have expressed strong reservations about this subject in issue to please desist from further comments on social media and join other stakeholders at a professional table of brotherhood on Monday as we collectively engage in a dialogue of hope, unity and harmony in our AGN .
