Covid-19-Toke Makinwa gives updates about her condition since the AMVCA last week

After the Lagos state commissioner for health, Prof. Akin Abayomi announced that those that participated at the AMVCA on the 14th March may have been exposed to the covid-19 infection, Toke Makinwa took to her social media page to reveal what she has been up to since the awards. She stated that she has been self-isolating and have been taking necessary health precautions as prescribed.

She wrote:

“I hope you and yours are keeping safe, thank you l for your messages and prayers, I worked at the #AMVCA, I have been off air and self isolating, making TikTok videos to entertain you, not sharing unverified information and just trying to keep my mind active. My team members and I have been hydrating and staying healthy, exercising, washing our hands and monitoring ourselves. #Thistooshallpass #staysafeoutthere”
