The movie, Sugar Rush has been banned from cinemas across the country. Music artiste turned actor turned politician, Banky W recently shared a message of hope for fans of the movie on his social media page where he revealed that he hopes the issue will be resolved quickly so that the movie can resume screening in cinemas.
The movie which stars artists such as, Tobi Bakare, and Bisola Ayeola from the big brother reality tv show along with BankyW and his wife Adesuwa was reported to have portrayed EFCC in a manner that the agency found questionable, hence the ban.
Banky W wrote;
“If you saw @sugarrushmovie and loved it, or if you planned to, please read our statements… We are very hopeful and optimistic that the film will be back on screens in a few days, so please don’t give up on us, and please stay optimistic with us.
