Popular Twitter user, Sugabelly, has shared her opinion on movie veteran, Pete Edochie, where she labelled Edochie a bad actor who has been playing the same role his entire life.
Nigerians on social media have reacted to Sugabelly’s controversial tweet. The Nigerian film industry has been greatly contributed to by some movie veterans, who have paved the way or set the path for others to follow. As time passes on and with the advent of social media and more fresh actors, their importance and the regard people have for them seem to have diminished.
According to her, Edochie is a really bad actor who has been playing the same role his entire life. She continued that acting is not about saying proverbs and the actor is only respected because of his old age.

Randomly remembered this Nigerian film Pete Edochie acted with Liz Benson. She gave him love option and he started acting like a fool in love.
But you see, even before she gave him the potion, he was playing the role of a loving husband.

The fact that Pete Edochie tends to be typecast as the wise old King/Chief in most Nollywood flicks doesn’t necessarily make him a bad actor.
