Kevin Hart, the adored and admired American comedian and actor, had his fans heaving sighs of relief when they saw him onstage at the People’s Choice Awards this past Sunday. Kevin Hart is recovering from a nearly fatal car accident that he was involved in earlier this year.
it was earlier reported that he sustained serious injuries to his back and that the accident had made the actor grateful to still be alive. Hart took to the stage at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, to accept the award for Favourite Comedy Act, according to ETOnline.
“First and foremost, I thank God, because I definitely don’t have to be here. Being that I am, that makes me appreciate life even more.
“It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. Family. I want to thank my wife, my kids. They really stepped up to the plate for me,” he said. The actor also thanked everyone who had wished him a speedy recovery. “You have no idea the effect that you have on us as entertainers. Your energy, your support, it means the world and I want to thank you guys for being there for me in my difficult time. This is special.”
