Mixed reactions have followed the trending video of a lady identified as Bolu who was brutally assaulted for ‘running her mouth’ by 4 ladies and a male student described as a school father to one of the ladies.
We contacted the Deputy Director, Corporate Communications, Federal University of Technology Akure, Mr Adegbenro Adebayo and he assured us that the case is under investigation and Bolu is responding to treatment.
While some argued that the guilty students should be expelled and prosecuted for this ‘crime’, others insisted that they should only be punished, suspended for a while and sent for counseling, to avoid halting their education, hence, damaging their lives. What do you think?
