Meet the new co-host of Wake Up Nigeria, Temitope Olowoniyan

Temitope Olowoniyan is a dynamic television host, actor and model with a cheerful personality who has an exceptional talent of blending performance both in TV presenting and acting.

 

She’s lively, uninhibited with tremendous charisma that shows her stage presence.

Having worked for years in front of the camera, Tope is a vibrant force that keeps you glued to your screen.

Tope had always wanted to be a presenter as far back as age 4, watching the likes of Eugenia Abu, Cyril Stoba on NTA. Tope had her primary and secondary education in Ahmadu Bello Staff School and Demonstration Secondary School, respectively.

Tope moved on to study English Language in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, with the constant support and motivation from her Late uncle, Professor J.S Aliyu who also saw her as a TV presenter from a tender age.

She has a Diploma from the TV Training Academy in London and also an ongoing Diploma in Broadcast Journalism – Allison College, Dublin.

Tope is a well grounded actor, with many years of experience. She was introduced into acting back in the university, while taking some elective courses in Theatre Arts.

Tope has successfully been able to blend both acting and TV presenting which stands her out.
