Lately, comedian and actor, Alibaba has been dishing out nuggets about getting into a relationship and the importance of being married. Yesterday, the comedian shared an important message on his Instagram page where he stated some of the issues that may arise from being alone and the importance of being in a healthy relationship whether you chose to be celibate or not. According to him, “No man is an island. No man should be alone. Get married, have a relationship, enjoy the company of others, mingle, relate with others”

Loneliness kills. Being alone, when it’s deliberate, should be for a period of meditation. Don’t be alone. It leads to depression. Speak with someone. Share your pain, challenges.

The problem with many people is that, they always think “SEX” when they think about being alone.

Staying away from sex, in the full sense of being celibate, is not a reason to cut out communication with others. Many become irritable and unapproachable because they think they are now MONKS.

All of these cases of depression, happening around us these days, are a result of cases of people who have decided to shut the world out and be loners.

Get married. Get into relationships. Talk to people. Share your pain. Don’t bottle anything in.
