The model and graphic artist was said to have been returning home when he was attacked by hoodlums in the Adeite area of Sawmill in Ifako.
In an attempt to collect his phone, the hoodlums stabbed him in the neck. It is reported that while Nene Chineyerem was bleeding, he sort for help from passersby and shopowners around the area but apparently he got no help as the shopowners were said to have quickly shut their shops for fear of getting attacked by the hoodlums if they tried to help the bleeding 22years old boy who finally bled to death.
The protecting dancers tried to recreate the scene of the incident as they went about in the peaceful protect.
