So it happened that at the just concluded NAACP Awards, Omari Hardwick (Ghost in the movie series, Power) planted an ‘inappropriate’ kiss on Beyonce!
The event which held on Saturday 30th March 2019, is an annual awards ceremony presented by the U.S.based National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) to honor outstanding performances in film, television, music, and literature; and Starz’s POWER carted away the award of most outstanding drama series this year.
A video had gone viral after the event where Ghost was seen hugging and planting not one, but two kisses on Jay-Z‘s wife Beyoncé, right in front of him. The awkwardness came after hugging Bey, following a greeting kiss on the cheek. Ghost then went in for another kiss, this time a little closer to her mouth, followed by a seemingly uncomfortable reaction from her.
Many feminists and Beyoncé fans (Beehive) who saw the discomfort on her face, have lashed Omari’s action and even used the clip to show an example of men asserting themselves in inappropriate ways with women. However, 50 Cent attempts to make light of the situation by joking around, while savagely trolling his POWER colleague, Ghost.
The rapper posted a clip of the viral video on his Instagram page and captioned it:
“👀Season 6 of POWER Jay Z kills Ghost don’t miss it we lit 🔥.😆LOL jay was like🤔the fuck is you doing pretty nigga.”
Lol…he further dropped a comment on the post saying:
“Ghost looking for more money for the queens child project.”

Neither Beyoncé, her husband or Omari have however spoken out on the situation.
