A lady was rescued by the police from the hands of suspected internet fraudsters otherwise known as ‘Yahoo Boys’ – who allegedly tried to abduct her in Asaba, Delta state.It was gathered that the lady was coming from the market, when she boarded a tricycle, popularly known as Keke Napep when two young men joined her from both sides, leaving her in the middle.
Luck Ran out of the suspected gang ‘Yahoo Boys’ as they met their Waterloo when their supposed victim signalled that she wanted to stop at a particular junction.
The keke napep driver refused to stop thereby forcing her to raise alarm which attracted mobile policemen on patrol and sympathizers to chase after them.
It was gathered that the suspected yahoo boys used charmed on her which made her temporarily lose her memory after she raised the alarm.
However the prompt response of the Nigerian Police on patrol saved the lady and got the suspect arrested and reports says that one of the suspect has an SUV seen within Asaba metropolis but packed not too far from the scene of the incident.
