Barely one week after three alleged cultists were beheaded in Lagos, another two suspected cultists were killed on Sunday April 22nd, during a clash with a rival cult group at Imalete Alafia and Igbojiya communities in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos state.
According to reports, one of the suspected cultists identified as Focus, was killed and mutilated by the group about 10a.m. yesterday at Igbojiya community.
Focus, who is said to be a member of Eye confraternity, sat at a joint, waiting for the noodles, egg anad bread to be prepared, when the cult members attacked and shot him. Realizing that the gunshots had no effect on him, they attacked him with axes and machetes. He tried to escape but could not, due to the deep cuts that he had on his neck, skull and parts of his body. He died on the spot. The cult members also killed another person in the neighbouring Imalete Alafia town.
