Over the weekend, Adekunle Gold’s wife, Simi spoke against the negative effect of internet fraud in the international community, and since then, there have been reactions trailing the celebrity couple.
TVCONTINENTAL earlier reported that Simi told a fan in an Instagram live video that she wasn’t going to glorify fraud just because ‘Yahoo boys’ listens or buy her song.
Simi expressed the implication of cyber-crime and said there’s no way she will glorify it.
Online users however were divided over her comment, some said the issue of ‘Yahoo Boys’ is a secondary issue, and primary issues – like government making it possible for youths to live and work comfortably in Nigeria, should be of utmost concern.

While online users had this conversation, one online user called the attention of Simi’s husband, Gold, asking if he was aware of his wife’s comment on internet fraud.
The online user commenting on a video post by Adekunle said; “Dekunle hope you’ve heard what your Wife said about Yahoo boys?”
Gold responded to the question by saying he was well aware of what his wife side. He went on to ask if the follower had any problem, to which the internet user gave a feedback in which he suggested that the singer used to edit documents for same fraudsters, his wife has condemed.
He said: “why don’t you let her know that there was a time you use to edit documents for Yahoo boys for their scam activities?”
