Husbands of Nollywood actresses, Adesua Etomi and Ihuoma Ejiofor, Banky W and Ibrahim Suleiman were on Entertainment Splash yesterday, December 13, 2018.
The interview with the two gentlemen was full of fun and laughter. The hosts of the show could not help but be amazed by the kind of relationship they share even though they are married to best friends and they both agreed that being married to best friends actually makes things easier for them and it does not pose an issue at all.
Moving on, Banky who has been married for a little over a year was asked to advise Ibrahim, who has been married for a little over a month and wouldn’t stop flaunting his ring. Banky had this to say to Ibrahim, whom he claims he shares advices with everytime:
“Your wife is always right, she also inherits whatever she wants from you. Wives also inherit whatever they want – perfumes, deodorants, t-shirts, drivers, human beings… They just come for it and it’s theirs.”
Speaking about how they stumbled on the acting career, Ibrahim admitted that acting was not a part of his plans, it was an opportunity that popped up and was supposed to last for only 3 months. “I just did it to get my mind off other things but eventually, it became the thing on my mind”. He further revealed that after acting, it’s script writing and directing for him.
Banky on the other hand, revealed that everything he is doing right now, asides politics, was all part of the plan; the acting, singing, film making, public speaking, were things he fell in love with as a child.
However, they both agreed that their wives are their acting coaches.
Speaking on his political ambition, Banky mentioned that Martin Luther King Jr was his inspiration, he wanted to lend his voice to the society and help people get educated on the need to get involved in political processes. Along the line, he discovered the need to actually get involved in this thing he was motivating his generation to do.
“My one month as a politician so far, has been very expensive and hectic but also very fulfilling.”
Ibrahim went ahead to vouch for his friend and attested to the fact that Banky had always proved to have interest in the welfare of people as well as the growth of the society; way before he even declared his intention to run for a political post. See full video below:
