Chef Johnson, who is a new Chef on TVC’s Wake Up Nigeria, brought his A-game today as he prepared a dish of Mac and Cheese Primavera.
Note that Primavera simply means a blend of Vegetables
Ingredients required are:
- Macaroni
- Tomato Paste
- Whipping cream or Evaporated Milk
- Red beans (Kidney beans)
- Green Peas
- Sweet corn
- Chopped garlic
- Cheddar cheese
- Wedged Onions
- Spices
- Thyme
- Typrica
- Tumeric
- Black pepper
- Origano
- Grounded ginger powder
Start by boiling the macaroni with salt.
Then, fry your tomato paste with the wedged onions. The idea is to make the size of the onions visible enough.
After a little while, add the cheese as well as the other spices and stir together. Add your seasoning to taste.
After frying together for a while, turn in your whipped cream and let it cook for a while.
At this point, turn in your cooked macaroni and let them steam together for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Next, add your Primavera (Red beans, Sweet corn and Green Peas)
