Popular Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson was involved in an airplane accident in New York after landing gear caught fire.
The actress was among 205 passenger on a Delta Air Line Flight 420 boraded from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
The pilot aborted take off due to an unknown issue and while landing, the gear was engulfed in flames.
According to reports, the breaks of the Boeing 767 overheated causing the landing gear to catch fire.
Rescue team however rushed to the scene to douse the fire.
The actress after escaping what could have been a fatal accident, took to Instagram to thank God for her life.
“My flight! So this happened to us! Thank you Jesus #Deltapleasesitup,” Yvonne captioned a video reporting the accident.
