Some people believe that only those with light skin are beautiful, and as such, most dark or brown skin ladies especially, opt for a change in skin – which results to bleaching and toning of the skin.
Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage revealed that it took her a long time to accept her brown skin and sometimes find it hard to believe in her beauty. However she has made it a routine to love herself as she constantly reminds herself that she’s beautiful.
The mother of one took to her Instagram page to say:
”IT HAS TAKEN ME A LONG TIME TO LOVE MY BROWN SKIN AND SOMETIMES I STILL HAVE TO REMIND MYSELF HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM BECAUSE GOD DOESN’T MAKE MISTAKES 🙏🏼
