Veteran Nollywood couple, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva over the weekend celebrated with their first son, Soji Jacobs who walked down the aisle with his lovely bride, Boma Elizabeth Douglas in Lagos on Saturday 21st of July 2018.
It was indeed a memorable event for the veteran actors when their son, Olusoji, married his lover,in Buguma village, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. The traditional wedding which was a lavish display of the richness of the Kalabari culture and indeed a great sight to behold was on Friday July 13, 2018. The parents of the couple danced and prayed for their children.
The white wedding was officiated by Pastor Tony Rapu on Saturday Saturday 21, 2018. Nollywood stars like Ufoma McDermott, Rita Dominic, Shaffy Bello, Kate Henshaw, Chidinma Ekile, Monalisa Chinda, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Rita Dominic, Hilda Dokubo, Omotola Jalade, Kunle Afolayan, Helen Paul Tatafo, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Richard Mofe Damijo and many others stormed the event in style.

Recall that Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva’s daughter in-law, Boma Douglas, had before now stated that her traditional marriage cost more than N10million.
When asked during an interview the estimated cost of preparations for her traditional wedding, Boma Replied saying:
“The preparation cost over 10 million because this house as you can see is still being re-painted. There was a lot of renovation and everything. You will get to see more in porthacourt. I’m sure you are seeing a lot of security presence, making sure everyone is fine. You have also seen the caliber of people coming in”
