SARS are not directed to search anybody – The Nigeria Police force

The Nigeria police force has stated that the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, FSARS officers do not have the right to stop and search anyone.

In a tweet chat session, the police let followers on the job description of the police which is to tackle robbery, cattle rustling, kidnapping, violent crimes and others.

In another tweet, the police weighed in on the popular conflict, between Yahoo boys and SARS. The police on its twitter handle explained that in investigating cyber crime, FSARS are only invited when there is element of violence.
