One of the world’s youngest and most popular rappers, Jahseh Onfroy popularly known as XXXTentacion was shot dead in south Florida. The Florida Police Department, U.S confirmed the rapper was shot dead in a likely robbery attempt.
The rapper was shot dead at age 20. He was killed outside a motorsports dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida on Monday afternoon where he appeared to be shopping. Two armed suspects then approached him and began to fire shots.
According to reports confirmed from TMZ,
“There were multiple shots fired as the victim was called a trauma patient. Witnesses allegedly told police a Louis Vuitton bag was taken from Onfroy’s vehicle by the two black men wearing hoodies who shot at him,” the local Broward Sheriff’s Office
XXXTentacion established a huge and strong fan base thanks to his emotionally raw lyrics, which tackled suicidal thoughts and battle with depression head-on. He was a consistently controversial figure in the genre due to multiple allegations of domestic abuse leveled against him an public feud with other artists.
