The Egypt national team has fallen out of the World Cup with no point.
Egypt played againt Saudi Arabia and suffered a 2-1 loss. Egyptian hit man, Mohamed Salah got on the scoresheet for Egypt but could not avoid a third-successive World Cup 2018 loss.
Mo Salah gave Egypt a first half lead with a wonderful finish, before Saudi Arabia equalised with a contentious penalty just before half-time and scored deep into stoppage time.
However, Sallah has begged disappointed Egypt fans for forgive.
“We want to apologise to all the Egyptian fans who came to support us here in the three matches, I know it is difficult for them, like us,” the 26-year-old stated.
“I just want to say that Egypt reached the World Cup after 28 years, some players here do not have the required experience. Thanks to all of them and we will back again in 2022.”
