Nollywood star actress, Mercy Johnson mourns the death of her beloved mother. It is a sad day for the actress and her family as she has lost her mother, Mrs Elizabeth Johnson to the cold hands of death. She shared the sad news on her social media page today.
According to reports, the actresses’ mother died this morning after being in coma for days at the hospital due to an undisclosed ailment.
Mercy Johnson made the announcement of her mother’s death on her Instagram page where she pleaded for prayers for herself and family as well as privacy.

Mercy Johnson comes from a military background in Kogi state. Her father, Daniel Johnson, was a navy officer and her mother, Elizabeth Johnson, was a trader.
Although her father was a military man, he had little to take care of the family and Mercy had to take on numerous jobs to survive. She started her acting career just after her secondary school education and has been really successful through the years.
