The suspect in the murder of Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21, the cousin of superstar singer Rihanna, has been arrested.
The suspect, Shawayne Dashawn Williams, 23, appeared in court on Wednesday in Barbados and was remanded in prison until his next court hearing on January 31. Barbados Today reported.
Alleyne was walking through the Eden Lodge area of St Micheal’s near his home, when he was approached by williams who shot him several times before fleeing the scene, at about 7pm.
Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21 was killed just a day after he spent the Christmas day with Rihanna.
Rihanna who posted a series of photos of her and Alleyne together and called for an end to gun violence in the country as she mourned his death.
