Former “Glee” actor, Mark Salling, 35 who was indicted for child pornography, has been found dead.
According to reports from TMZ, a source said he may have hung himself.
Law enforcement agents however confirmed that Salling body was found hanging from a tree after they received a call to a welfare check on the actor.
Police however traced Salling body to the baseball field where Salling’s body was found.
Salling was reported to have been caught in possession of child porn, found on his laptop, hard drive and a USB flash drive, by the Internet Crimes Against Children LAPD task force.
This led to his arrest in December 2015 after a tip-off of his ex-girlfriends.
Salling was to face a 20 year sentence, but pleaded guilty. The actor had reportedly negotiated a plea deal of about 4 to 7 years in prison, register as a sex offender and banned from communications with minors (children).
Confirming the death of the actor to ‘PEOPLE’, Salling’s lawyer, Michael Proctor said;
I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning,”

Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”
