Veteran comedian, Ali Baba narrates how his inlaws refused the N30 naira he paid for his wife’s bride price, because they were not ready to sell their daughter.
Ali Baba commenting on her good looks, wrote;
“As we say in Warri… “See how @mummymary_ ripe… so taaaay she and the background blend”. I paid N30 bride price… the family said they don’t sell their daughters. So they gave me back N3… in essence, i paid N27. I think it is time to recapitalize.”
Ali Baba & his wife, Mary Akpobome have been married for twelve years, but have been together for over 20 years.
