The award season usually gives an undertone to the fashion trends of the year and the red carpet of the 2018 Golden Globes didn’t disappoint.
The red carpet displayed a host of both new and old trends, from celebrities designer outfits, accessories to makeup and hair. The color black took over the red carpet in different styles, shapes and sizes, with stars standing in support of the #MeToo (solidarity against sexual harassment ) movement.
Although the star-studded event was full of unique interpretations, we couldn’t help but notice that there were repeats of the same look. From dress silhouettes to jewelry, the desire to look the best ultimately led to daring trends that we’re excited to adapt for in 2018.
