Wizkid gifts young rapper 10 million Naira, signs him to Starboy (see video)

It’s been 6 years since Lagos city witnessed Wizkid on stage. The much anticipated Wizkid Concert tagged ” WizKid The Concert” which held yesterday at the Eko Convention Center, was ‘LIT’ 🔥 after Wizkid signed a young rapper who performed with him on stage..  Lagos once again experienced StarBoy live on stage. 

As the show went on, Wizkid requested that the fans on the Regular and VIP advance to the front thereby displacing those in the VVIP spot.

This however, turned out to be a blessing to a young boy named “Ahmed” who was able to get the attention of StarBoy boss who called him upstage requesting for his name and he turned out to be from Wizkid’s hometown; Ijebu-Ode.

The boy then had the opportunity to do a freestyle after whispering into the ears of Wizkid that he can rap. In the space of two(2) Minutes, the boy had raised the atmosphere with his “ibile” kind of rap.

Immediately, wizkid said

“from today, i don sign you to sign you to starboy and me i go give you 10 million naira to take start and i go give am anything wey him want”

Recall last year, Wizkid cancelled his homecoming concert after doctors warned the pop star to take time to rest due to health reasons.

Wizkid apologised to his fans and promised to be strong this year.
