Watch video: I didn’t have time for women because I grew up in poverty – Chiwetalu Agu

Veteran Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu has revealed why he didn’t get his heart broken while growing up, saying poverty was a part of him which pushed him away from women. Watch video below:

In a quick chat with Broadway TV, Chiwetalu Agu speaks about growing up poor, his career choices, politics and more.

When asked if he had ever been heartbroken, the actor said no as he was really poor when he was young and he didn’t have time for women, because his pockets were empty. He added that it wasn’t until God started blessing him financially did he have time.

When asked to share his thoughts on actors who go into politics he said, if they were interested they should be given an opportunity to but as for him, since he started acting professionally in 1981 he has never seen or thought about doing anything else other than what he is doing now.

Speaking on his comic roles, he said he improvises on any work given to him and the fact that he makes a lot of people to laugh, fulfills him. Watch video below:
