International Drinks Festival: Exhibition kicks off in Lagos

The maiden edition of the International drinks festival kicks off today with an amazing exhibition turn out at the Federal Palace, Balmoral event centre, Lagos. The 3 day exhibition with hundreds of brands features free drink tastings, discounted sales and lots of events.

The drinks festival which is aimed at moving the drinks business, hosts top professionals and consumers.

TVC’s reporter, Barachel Ukuta who is on ground, confirmed that the turn out is amazing and a lot of persons are still coming in.

Ukuta disclosed that discussions were on-going, addressing issues relating to difficulty of executing drink businesses in Nigeria, importation of drinks into the country & awareness on the path of importers. She further revealed that summit guest speakers are expected to come in tomorrow to talk on the ease of doing business in Nigeria, as related to drinks.

Chief Executive Officer, Balmoral Events Solution Company, Ezekiel Adamu, stated during a press conference that the event would give various drink professionals, summits and others opportunities to ask questions and interact with the drink experts.

“The festival will have a lot of interactive fun events to lighten up the atmosphere and introduce various brands to the general public,” he said.

The COO & CEO of Balmoral Group Akin Eso amd Ezekiel Adamu, had earlier revealed on TVC’s entertainment show, #WakeUpNigeria, that there would be an influx of local drinks manufacturers bringing in a new level that has never been experienced.

They also highlighted that the drinks festival will feature an entertainment village with different kinds of food and drinks and a whole lot of entertainment.

“The entertainment village is where you will have different kinds of food and drinks and there will also be a whole lot of entertainment. We will be showing all the premiership games live, there will be lot of games and different activities we’ll also be having artists performing and international flare bartenders doing the flare show.”

The International Drinks Festival welcomes persons who are 18+ and is expected to end on Sunday,  3rd of December 2017.
