According to reports, Eden Hazard is expected to be fit for Chelsea’s clash with West Brom on Saturday, ruling out Victor Moses who is still recovering from his hamstring injury.
Hazard missed Belgium’s 1-0 victory over Japan on Wednesday evening and wasn’t even named as a substitute.
Sports media, HLN report that Hazard’s absence was due to a slight knock he suffered in Belgium’s previous friendly against Mexico last Friday. Hazard was rested against Japan as a precaution but HLN report that Hazard was able to take part in training on Monday.
Hazard has played only 474 minutes in the Premier League this season after he required surgery to fix a fractured ankle in the summer.
Reports also claimed last Friday that Tiemoue Bakayoko had suffered a setback in training during the international break, but the summer signing from Monaco allayed fears by posting a picture on Instagram of himself in training at Chelsea’s training base on Wednesday.
