After news of split with The Weekend, Selena Gomez reunites with Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were brought back together because of her kidney transplant, it seems.

The pair have been seen together a lot lately, especially since reports she’s split with The Weeknd, and it turns out the rekindling of their friendship was due to Selena’s life threatening illness earlier this summer.

Most recently they were seen attending a hockey match together, with Selena attempting to hide her face as Justin drove them to the game. After news of her surgery came to light, Justin claimed he hadn’t known she was even ill, which appears to be true as according to The Blast when he found out he couldn’t even contact her as he didn’t have her current number.

Instead, he reached out through friends and have since been bonding over religion and have been attending church together. A source said: ‘He hopes to regain her trust so they can get back together. They have so much to catch up on. They dealt with things separately this year that made them different people.

‘It wouldn’t be surprising if they got back together … It seems their relationship now is very different. Justin is certainly a much better person.

He would be a better boyfriend, too.’ The pair dated between 2011 and 2015.
