Olamide gave me money to shoot ‘shake body’ video when I was broke – Skales

Nigerian singer and rapper, Skales has publicly shown gratitude to fellow rapper, Olamide who he said sponsored his video ‘Shakebody’ after his contract ended with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) in 2014.

Taking to Twitter three years after shooting the video for the song which became a major hit, the music star in a series of tweets wrote:

‘Guys iv been holding this back for so long but I gotta let the world know @olamide_YBNL …actually gave me cash to shoot “shakebody vid.’

‘Back then cz I was super broke and couldn’t afford to shoot a video for that song I will neva forget it bro thanks a lot bro @olamide_YBNL.’

‘And since then my life has never been the same….GOD BLESS ALL THE REAL AND TRUE ONES OUT THERE.’

Skales who was signed to Baseline Music after leaving EME, also has his own record label OHK Music.
