Lily Perez is a Nigerian gospel artiste who has great passion for God but a recent fire accident gave her a turn around as she proclaims.
Just in February this year, she was involved in a domestic fire accident which was due to the carelessness of her housemaid. While speaking with Mike Mesikenor on #WakeUpNigeria, she said;
“I had a fire accident in my home February this year, I was literally on fire and I thought I was going to die. My house-help at home forgot to turn off the gas after using it, I came home after a long day to prepare for church then I perceived the smell. I have a one year plus child and I thank God nothing happened to him, I was the only one hurt. It was a turn around for me.”

Speaking about how she over came the trauma, she explained that she decided to switch into a ‘gratitude mode’ thanking God because it could have been worse.She advised that people who have same issues should be grateful to God.
Speaking of how she was able to finish 15 tracks in her album, she explained that she did it on her sick bed.
” I completed the 15 tracks of my album on my sick bed. That was where the inspiration came to complete it. I was recording and all, I am glad it’s now available. I intend to have a concert early next year and do more recordings and videos.”
