Chelsea have offered Eden Hazard a new contract which will see the attacker earn £300,000-a-week and become the highest paid player in the club’s history. With Real Madrid looking to sign the player the Blues want to offer the player a new deal despite seeing him sign a five-and-a-half-year deal in February 2015.
The Belgian admitted in August that he is ‘waiting’ to sign a new deal and Antonio Conte does not want the issue to last till next summer.
Hazard currently earns around £200,000-a-week but want him to sign a new long-term deal worth around £300,000-a-week, the Telegraph reports.
The deal will see the former Lille youngster become the highest paid player in the club’s history. Hazard could start in Chelsea’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
