Instead of the regular yam and egg Nigerians eat, Chef Miyonse was on #WakeUpNigeria to introduce us to something different which he named, ‘Yam Balls and Smokey Egg Sauce’.
Ingredients
- Yam
- Flour
- Bread crumbs
- Eggs
- Sausages
- Smoked fish
- Tomatoes
- Habanero
- Onions.
Procedure
Slice the yam, wash in clean water, then boil the yam till they’re soft
While the yam is boiling, put vegetable oil in the pan and wait till its hot, add habanero (pepper)and let it fry for 15 minutes.
Add seasoning cube, salt and onions when it is 8 minutes gone.
Add smoked fish and the already chopped smoked sausage, add egg in the frying sauce, and mixed till it had the scrambled effect.
Coming back to the yam, mash the yam with magarine or butter, put it in egg and mash together.
Coat the mashed yam with bread crumbs and fry.
With these, your ‘Yam Balls and Smokey Egg Sauce’ is ready!
