Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and chairman, committee on health, LAHA, Hon. Olusegun Oluade has revealed that the Lagos state is working hard to make Lagos free from Lassa Fever.
Speaking with the ladies of #YourViewTVC, Hon. Olusegun Oluade reveals that five (5) cases were discovered in Lagos state. He said; ” We have discovered five cases in Lagos and unfortunately, we lost two. Among the three left, one has responded to treatment and has gone home, the other two are still undergoing treatment.”
“Lagos is gradually becoming free of ‘Lassa fever’. We have the health personnel and a monitoring team working on wiping this out of the state.” He added.
What action has Lagos State?
Hon. Olusegun said; “The clean Lagos intiative will start fully in september and it’s a way to keep our environment safe from deadly diseases. The Lagos state frowns against any form of uncleaniness and we are trying to achieve a more healthy environment.”
