Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger says he has 33 first team players and expects the club to sell some before the end of the transfer window.
The Gunners boss says the size of the current squad is “not manageable” and says the club would not be able to buy more players for now.
Speaking after the 1 – 0 loss to Stoke City on Saturday, Wenger said: “I expect to sell players first, that is all.”
“I expect some players to go because we have too many players and it is not manageable.
Many clubs are in this situation which is why the transfer market is quiet.
“We have 33 players at the moment, and that is too many players.”
