Italian designer, Laura Biagiotti dies at 73

TVC E. Italian designer Laura Biagiotti has died in Rome aged 73. The designer who suffered a cardiac arrest and possible brain asphyxiation died on Friday (26th of May 2017). She is survived by Lavinia, the VP of the brand who took a bow together with her at the end of her fasion shows in Milan.

 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday, May 27th 2017 at the Santa Maria Degli Angeli church in Italy.

Known for her luxurious cashmere pieces and pretty silhouettes, the acclaimed ‘Queen Of Cashmere’ was one of the top Italian female designers known globally. She started her career in the 60’s and quickly became known for her feminine and pretty cashmere designs. She also owns the popular ‘Roma’ fragance brand.
