TVC E. The Spectacular wedding bash of SAN Segun Jegede’s daughter, Ibukun Aanuoluwapo to Ononeye Gabriel, whose parents are Litous Omotola Onojobi from Ijebu Land happened yesterday (13th of May 2017) with more behind the scene happenstances and lovely pictures you wont find elsewhere than in their wedding album. The wedding was graced and anchored by a great female entertainer who gave her best performance in a straight five hour afternoon show which started with a traditional wedding ceremony and reception thereafter at the same hall in Lekki Lagos.
Amongst the special guest present were: SAN Mike Igbokwe, Justice from Appeal State court, Judges of the high Court, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, members of the UNN, UN secretary, Friends from Rwanda and Ghana. Mrs Tolulope olowoye representative from UN Geneva was also on the high table to assist the former military top brass. Enjoy the excerpt.
About the Venues of the Wedding
One thing that worked well for the event was the proximity of location. Both the venue of the traditional marriage, the church and the reception center were within the same area. All in the same building. The Traditional started at about 1pm and ended around 2: 30pm while the reception followed immediately after the photo section.
The ceremony witnessed a large turn out of eminent Nigerians who drove into Ruby Garden from various locations in their posh cars. The field of the venue was littered with various brands of cars.
The father of the bride SAN Segun Jegede during his words of encouragement charged the couple to live in peace with no division of thought or action. He said God’s creation was not complete until he created a woman and that God clearly demonstrated that in Marriage two is not two but one. He particularly told Ononeye that “Marriage is to be enjoyed not to be endured”. What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.
